Privacy

Turnbook has no accounts and no database. When you ask for a route, the points of your trip are sent to our server, used to work out the route on our own router, and then forgotten: they are not stored, not logged and not sent to anyone else.

To plan a route, the Turnbook app sends the points of your trip (where you start, any stops, and where you are going) to this server, and again from where you are if you miss a turn. The server works the route out with our own router, which runs on the same machine, adds the spoken directions, and sends it back. It keeps nothing: no database, no file, no log line. To stop any one device flooding the router, it counts requests per network address in memory for a minute. It tells Lotl Observe, which we run, how many routes were asked for and whether they worked, never where they went.

Your rights

Turnbook's server stores nothing about you, so there is nothing to export, correct or delete here. The points of a trip are only sent when you ask for a route.
